The LWC has pioneered many of the routine techniques used to help lesbian women and same sex couples today. This talk explores tests and diagnostic procedures, how the treatment works, the different methods available and the legal implications of using donor sperm to conceive.

Professor Nick Macklon is Medical Director of LWC and a Visiting Professor at the University of Copenhagen. A world renowned fertility specialist, he has held Professorships and Departmental Chair positions in Utrecht, Southampton and Copenhagen. He has published more than 200 scientific papers and several books, and is Editor of Reproductive Biomedicine Online.
