Described as “the gayest parliament in the world”, the UK has lesbian and bi representation across the Westminster political divide, as well as in the House of Lords. But with homophobia, transphobia and misogyny entrenched in some of our biggest institutions, how difficult is it to be out in politics? This panel will bring together queer politicians from across the UK to discuss the biggest issues facing LGBTQI women and non-binary people, sharing their own experiences and explaining how they’re using their platforms to further LGBQTI equality.
